We visited Northern Ireland where we met up with a friend, Mary, from Michigan who was born and raised in Derry. Mary met her husband, Larry, while he was stationed with the U.S. Navy who operated a communications station there. After touring the city, we were entertained by Mary's sisters and make it a point to get together with them every time we return to Northern Ireland. Believe me, there is NOTHING like a party in Derry for good craic and a throbbing head in the morning!
